That tractor's engine gets its starting fuel from the IDLE pathway. Disconnect the battery negative (black cable) & isolate it. The governor is responsive throttling up but the only way I can get it to idle back down is by pulling the choke out. The main power jet may be clogged or the fuel level in the bowl is too low, fuel filter clogged, port to fuel pump from crank case may be loose. I have run straight sea foam a few times and it worked for me.4. jimmylh · #8 · Nov 24, 2020 (Edited) You make sure the fuel petcock is to the on position. Turn the key to on but do not crank. You will hear the click of the fuel pump. Observe the fuel bowl on the side of the engine until it is completely full.
